About me

I see individual clients, providing a confidential and safe environment in which to build a relationship of trust and openness. This might be short or long term, depending on individual needs. I work with my clients at the pace that they want.

I have been trained as an integrative counsellor, which means that I combine aspects of several models of therapy depending on the needs of each unique client. I feel that all models are effective, but the vital part is the quality of the relationship you share with your counsellor.

For 14 years I have been using counselling skills in a variety of settings, including, but not limited to; homeless hostels, shared houses for vulnerable adults, floating support in people’s homes and night shelters, prisons and counselling 11 -18 year olds at school.

I work with a wide variety of issues including, but not limited to; bereavement, depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship breakdowns, eating disorders, stress, low self esteem, phobias and abuse.


  • Volunteered as a counsellor at the East Kent Rape line in Canterbury

  • Volunteered as a counsellor in the Renal Unit in Ashford (NHS)

  • Currently working at a secondary school counselling 11 - 18 year olds

  • Post support counselling over the phone for people who have been through HMP services

  • Private counselling in an office based setting
